On January 13, 2023, COSCO Shipping (Oceania) Pty., Ltd. held the 2023 Annual Work Meeting and Safety Work Meeting. Mr Zhang Dayu, Chairman/President of COSCO Shipping (Oceania) Pty., Ltd., made a report on the work of Australia and New Zealand at the main venue. Vice President Gong Qing conveyed the spirit of the 2023 working conference of the Group Company, and Vice President Kang Chuanya conveyed the spirit of the 2023 working conference of COSCO Shipping Line Co., Ltd. and made a regional safety work report.

The meeting reviewed the work and achievements of Australia and New Zealand in 2022 from the aspects of Production and Operation, Strategic Guidance, Deepening Reform, and Risk Prevention, and analyzed the current situation and challenges. The objectives and tasks for the overall work of the region in 2023 were put forward: First, to anchor the course and accelerate the construction of regional digital supply chain capacity; Second, we should concentrate on the benefits and promote the stable growth of enterprise benefits; Third, we should take the initiative to effectively promote the steady realization of the annual goals; Fourth, we should work steadily to resist pressure and build a solid foundation for high-quality development and safety. 

At the meeting, the collective and individual who won the title of group, collection and regional advanced in 2022, as well as the star employees of the Australia and New Zealand branch were commended. Mr Zhang Dayu, Chairman/President of the Board of Directors, signed 《the Letter of Responsibility for Business Performance》 and 《the Letter of Responsibility for Work Safety and Ecological Environment Protection》 in 2023 with the heads of all subsidiaries.
