On April 24, 2023, four semi-trailers arrived at the designated site in Victoria for the Jinko Solar PV project, marking the second successful bid for an Australian PV project by Ocean & Air Cargo Service in partnership with COSCO Shipping's Ningbo port. While COSCO Shipping's Ningbo port is responsible for transportation from the factory to the port of Melbourne, Ocean & Air Cargo Service handles customs clearance, trailer services, container unloading, short-term warehousing, and distribution within Australia. Jinko Solar, one of the world's largest solar panel manufacturers listed on the New York Stock Exchange (stock code: 688223), has been consistently ranked among the top three in sales in the Australian market. As a key account customer of COSCO Shipping, Jinko Solar's listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on January 26, 2022 (stock code: 688223) further solidified its position in the industry. During the bidding process, Ocean & Air Cargo Service and COSCO Shipping's Ningbo port fully utilized internal collaboration within the group, explored customer demands, and addressed pain points. They optimized the end-to-end supply chain operations for the customer, ultimately standing out among numerous international logistics enterprises and winning the bid for the Glenrowan West 115MW/115 MW-30040HQ (600TEU) PV project in Victoria. This project is characterized by a high concentration of shipments that must be completed within nine weeks. Moreover, the project site is located 250 kilometers away from the port of Melbourne, posing significant challenges in terms of transportation. From the initial stages of the project, the Ocean & Air Cargo Service team in Melbourne engaged in in-depth communication with Jinko Solar, conducted on-site surveys, and discussed specific details, thoroughly exploring and understanding the customer's expectations for end-to-end supply chain services. UGL, the project owner, is the same owner as the Jinko South Australia project completed by the Sea-Air team last year. This familiarity with the owner's requirements for the site and services, combined with the team's extensive experience in handling similar projects in Melbourne, led to the development of a logistics transport and delivery plan that gained recognition and trust from the customer. Throughout the project, Jinko Solar was able to track real-time cargo updates on the Ocean & Air Cargo Service website, meeting their demand for precise digital information. The professional services provided by Ocean & Air Cargo Service were highly praised by the client. In the future, Ocean & Air Cargo Service will continue to deepen its cooperation with PV energy clients, further expand end-to-end integrated services, enhance business collaboration both domestically and internationally, establish a more efficient digital container supply chain, and provide customers with a stable and smooth supply chain guarantee, facilitating the expansion of their PV business and international operations. | |||||
