On May 19th, as the "CONTSHIP YEN" ship slowly departed from Hutchison Port in Sydney, it marked the smooth opening of the ANE route, the first regional branch line of COSCO's maritime consolidation that covers major ports in Australia and Auckland Port in New Zealand. This is another new milestone for COSCO Shipping's deep exploration of the third country and regional markets in the Australia and New Zealand region. COSCO Shipping's ANE route is connected to Bell Bay (Tasmania), Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland, providing fortnightly services with a fortnightly cabin of 700TEU. The successful opening of the ANE route not only achieved direct shipping services between Australia and New Zealand for the first time with the dual-brand fleet of COSCO Shipping and Consolidation but also relied on COSCO Shipping Lines' global network of trunk and branch lines to provide a more convenient and efficient shipping and extension services for goods entering and leaving Tasmania. | |||||
